1987.05.29 Long Beach, CA Flyer

Submitted by on May 29, 1987 – 12:24 pm 3 Comments

Terrance Gayles sent me this flyer for Voivod playing live with Kreator at the  Fenders Ballroom, 521 East 1st Street, Long Beach, CA

Some people don’t to be sure of the year of this gig, but the concert  happened on 1987 (1987.05.29) after their other concert dates in California, which aren’t documented in some website’s Voivod tour dates

A lot of people have Voivod / Kreator flyers dating from 1986, but as far as i know Voivod didn’t tour with Kreator in 1986, but did so in 1987.

dude i met this chick in calgary that had just hitch hiked from this gig and she said the drummer of executioner gave her the best acid and they had the worst time tryin to figure out “why” and “what is it all about?” bunch of smart peple questions if you ask me well no one else believes me when i tell them i met you guys before but hey what can i do to get a break eh. i mean how many ufos and abduxtion stories do you have to tell until the government and dr.s start believe me and they can put me in a reflective aluminum chamber where they cant get me and the hospital lets me use knifes that are not plastic so is i can cut the voices out of my head!
    long live metal!
