ok you can't remove anything from the trilogy killing technology / dimension hatross / nothingface, so i'll pick something else, actually PHOBOS is one of my favorites
(...and i can't even listen to it now, my cd has been stolen)

There is no chance to put any one song above all others, but 'The Unknown Knows','Forgotten in Space' and 'Rise' have corroded their way into the deepest areas of my brain, causing seizures of primitive catatonia. I can't hear or see anything clearly when they spring into my mind....Instant classics!

'Neutrino' it's character or whatever, it defies my grasp and I each time find it fascinating. But the whole Phobos album does.

Has to be, or have to be :
Missing Sequences
Psychic Vacuum / Sub-Effect / Nuclear War / Nanoman / Forgotten in Space / We are not Alone / Panorama / To the Death!
But as has been said before, I've met easier tasks...

Yes I think too the best lyrics are done on 'Angel Rat'.
And my favourite song is 'None Of The Above'.
It is simple and magical, shivering, somehow sad and pessimistic (=realistic!?) but rebellious in the veins.

Okay, here are my favs...

(1) Experiment: The first Voivod track I heard. I bought Hatross on a whim having never heard Voivod...I was a big metal head and I decided to take a chance. What can I say...the beginning of my love for Voivod!

(2) Missing Sequences: When I bought Nothingface I couldn't believe it...it was better than Hatross!! (IMO!)

(3) Astronomy Dominie: Around the time of Nothingface, I was introduced to smoking weed. Needless to say...I love this song when I'm stoned!

(4) Angel Rat: I was initially disappointed with Angel Rat...but soon came around to the newer, mellower sound. This song is truly beautiful...and contains the best Voivod lyrics.

(5) Tornado: Old-school thrash!

"This is not an exercise" which strangely enough seems very appropriate at the moment. Strange how most of people's fave seem to be drawn from the later albums, who remembers shitting their pants to "RRROOOAAARRR" way back when?

The song I choose,
when I want to channel my furious energies:

TO THE DEATH

- so fucking brutal -

when I want to get high:

INTO MY HYPERCUBE

- always a new trip -

when I want to leave earth:

BACTERIA

- the sum of both before -

But you know, the whole work of Voivod is one song.
