upon taking a few minutes to think about it, instead of raving about my favorite albums, i'll pick the one i dislike the most : Rrroooaaarrr!
a really noisy and sloppy sounding album IMO. some good songs on it like Thrashing Rage are made less enjoyable by a big wall of noise that makes it hard to distinguish each separate instrument and the 'i got a headache now' factor seems to skyrocket during a session with this disc.
the only two albums i don't digg too much are this one and 'LIVES'. pretty much both for the same reason.
just my two cents... |

RRROOOAAARRR:Another album with heavy thrash structure. This one is a little more mature, yet still very straight fowrward. Still fast and heavy, it's got more of an angst attitude to it. You can hear the drumming improve (double bass), along with the solos. My favs:
"Fuck of and Die","Horror", and "Trashing Rage"(the best on the album)

De tous les albums de Voïvod, c'était celui que j'aimais le moins. Le son est d'une qualité inacceptable. La plupart des compositions ont été faites à la va-vite...sans trop d'originalité...
Du gros métal pour trasher et faire du bruit.
Un album où le talent ne ressort à peu près pas.
Je n'ai jamais aimé les pièces sur cet album...pas une !!!
Bon...un gros 4/10
