This is one of my favorite Voivod releases. Even if VV as a group hadn't realized their musical potential yet, the album is raw and abrasive and kicks enough ass as is. "Live for Violence" is one of my favorite songs, the lyrics are awesome. It has strong conviction.

WAR AND PAIN:A great THRASH/PUNK album fueled with darkness and violence! This one sets up the brutality in their musical attitude. My favorite tunes are "Blower","Voivod",and "Warriors of Ice". This album is very straight foward and just makes you want to scream aloud with a rised fist full of might and metal in the air! A must-have for ture Voivod fans.
