Nothingface and, as a close runner-up, Killing Technology.
(I really loved Dimension Hatröss when it came, but later came to see it as a bit of a... transition between the two above. I still like it a lot, though.)

My favourite Voivod album ever released is Nothingface.Second comes Dimension Hatross ,Negatron,Outer Limit and Angel Rat as well!!!

| hard to choose one but it has to be Angel Rat. I was struggling between that and Nothingface. In fact both, the most psychedelic Voivod albums. |

excluding the eric forrest stuff because its apples vs. oranges...
i would never be able decide among nothingface, angel rat, and outer limits - depends on mood. must have all three at all times.
fav art/concept = nothingface
melodichedelic = missing sequences/nothingface or freedoom/angel rat
heavychedelic = the lost machine/outer limits |

My Top 5 :
1 - Nothingface
2 - Dimension Hätross
3 - The Outer Limits
4 - Angel Rat
5 - Killing Technology (i would surely rank it higher if it had a better production)
Nothingface is the first Voivod album I discovered (20 years ago now) and after listening to it hundreds of times, I still can't get enough of it, it's a masterpiece to me, and I place it in my top 5 albums, all bands and styles mixed up. |
