THE RAVENOUS – BLOOD DELIRIUM (RED STREAM RECORDS)
The Horror Death Metal of the death metal Supergroup known as The Ravenous is not for the timid; indeed, one listen to their second full-length record ‘Blood Delirium’ will have the best of you reaching for the OFF button. It’s nasty, rancid, filthy stuff, reaching a level of vileness that only key members of Autopsy, Abscess, Necrophagia and Brutal Truth could muster. These guys are so Underground that apparently corpses are petitioning to have the band exhumed.
Songs titles such as ‘Gore Whore’, ‘A Corpse is Forever’, ‘Nightmares in a Deranged Brain’ ‘Spawned by Ghoul Insemination’ or ‘You will be Eaten Alive’ will tell you all you need to know about The Ravenous. Unpleasant and nasty, right here.
