First of all let me just say that my name is not meant in any way to denigrate Chewy who I think is the perfect successor to Piggy in that he manages to emulate Piggy’s sound but also brings something of himself to the table. That being said, I have to say how pleased I am to see Voivid back in fine form and a return to the classic line-up. I have been a huge Voivod fan for about 25 years now, first introduced to the band when I heard Astronimy Domine and then bought Nothingface to hear more of this band “Voivod”. I was immediately attracted to the prog-metal fusion performed in a way like no other band I had heard play before (or since)! I gradually acquired all the other albums and became a loyal fan along the way. I still work out to Jack Luminous… althought the joints are starting to creak at this point… : P… Long live Voivod: Jonquiere’s most valuable export!
